In 2009 I saw Los Lobos on a River Cruise in NYC...and as the boat was passing the Statue of Liberty with the sun setting David Hidalgo turns around to look at this and he says with a smile "This is Pretty Cool!"...Caesar Rosas in turn said "Surf's Up"...I can't get enough of this band, I've lost count on how many times I've seen them. They never disappoint...A bunch a Southern Cal Kids growing up listening to the Beatles, Cream & Jimi Hendrix, and then fusing it with Chicano Influences...What's not to love...50 years later their still Kicking Ass...Long Live Los Lobos!

You must have been standing near me that night. We stood on the balcony rail right behind sound engineer Dave Sinko all 3 nights, all 3 years they did these shows.

Wish I could've been at this show. I did manage to catch a few of Bob Perry's Winter Hours tribute shows, in NYC and Hoboken, and the one Michael did at Maxwell's for the Winter Hours Tribute CD release night. I'm based on LI so I don't get into NJ that much anymore. I never made it to Hoboken until the late 80s but at least it was in time to have seen Winter Hours live at Maxwell's in 1989 or so. I think Michael played at a place in Montclair in 2014 or so, but I couldn't get there, alas.

That band never is around here and it’s not a million dollars- we’re Going!! And we saw the Baseball Project but he’s such a sleepy head and we drove back to Worcester - I knew kNO Way - My learner permit companion is going to stay awake anyway so I listened to Public Image all the way back or Weird Al who knows what?

Does anyone the interval Chris is singing underneath her during the chorus? I think it’s a 4th below her? I think it might change to a 3rd below her for the second “down.” It’s just so gorgeous I want to know!

I like how Jesus, Etc. has become a kind of a modern standard. It's a very popular song to cover and lends itself to a whole bunch of different interpretations. Way to go, Wilco!

Great time this year, even though as usual, it rained a lot. Now a Japanese Breakfast fan as well. It's good to widen your musical horizon That's what it's about. PS - we were the folks on the right of the stage, blue pop-up tent on the hillside. Thank God for the tent....
