Bernstein is so good at his job but unfortunately he is unlistenable, and has been for going on a decade. He simply can't keep his politics out of the show. He's a hypocrite, a guy who probably deserved to be canceled for the T. Diddlers bits; the mocking of AJ Hawk's sister; the comments about the TV newswoman's breasts; etc.

Vita Vea and Goedeke are difference makers if fully healthy. The Bucs can win if the defense shows up and gets turnovers and sacks.
@Fljeep182 күн бұрын
The Bucs oline need to earn their money so the RB’s can have a great game. The way they are playing the Bucs will be the worst running team for the 3rd year in a row.

The Bucs defense is going to have to show up and play well. They need to get sacks and turnovers to win against the Eagles.
@Fljeep182 күн бұрын
The Bucs know the Eagles and should be able to beat them even considering the Bucs injuries to key players. Goedeke is doing some practicing today so that is a great sign for the offense.

Denver lost to the 3-0 Seahawks by 6 and the 3-0 Steelers by 7 saying they are a bad team might be an overreaction as they have played a tough schedule and were in both games. Think the bucs completely overlooked them

Dan Bernstein is a broadcasting legend. Period. Dan's intelligence, razor-sharp wit, impressions, sense of humor & incredible sports knowledge are beyond elite, as are his interviewing skills, integrity and resilience. (Also his generosity; Dan has raised a ton of money for charities over the years.) The legendary (Terry) Boers & Bernstein show on WSCR AM 670 (Chicago) (from 1999 until Boers' retirement in 2016; see Wikipedia) was appointment radio; it was the kind of program that made you late for work, because you had to pull off the road, you were laughing so hard. At the same time, B&B were always first to tackle challenging topics with professionalism and tenacity, whether it was the Joe Paterno Penn State mess, the Chicago Blackhawks scandals, or another dumb Chicago Bears draft pick or coaching hire. And for what it's worth: Although Boers -- and B&B show contributors/producers Matt Abbatacola, Jason Goff, Chris Rongey & others -- would often tease Dan about his quirks and unique personality, they were also fiercely loyal, with genuine affection & appreciation for Dan (and if you don't believe me, check out the YT videos from Abbatacola and Boers attesting to this). When they would rag on Dan, it was all good-natured fun for the most part. And it was hilarious. It was show business at its best; everyone played their roles to perfection. It was an act, and a damn good one. But it wasn't real life, and anyone who thinks they "know" Dan Bernstein from listening to the radio is delusional, just as anyone who thinks they "know" who Howard Stern, Jimmy Fallon or Tom Brady really are from watching them on TV or listening to the radio is kidding themselves. (Actually, that goes for any public figure.) Sadly, for some time now, Dan Bernstein has been undermined by a bitter, self-serving, humorless, unprofessional, woke, back-stabbing, paranoid, talentless hack with the initials LH. Instead of laughing with Dan, LH would argue just to argue, with every retort dripping with sarcasm & contempt. (And if Dan wasn't around, LH didn't even bother trying to mask his hatred; it was Backstab City 24/7.) And, what do you know... it was announced today (9/23/24) that this piece of garbage was just rewarded for his efforts by being promoted to afternoon drive on WSCR. LH now finds himself playing second fiddle to another Bernstein-hater, MS. (Those two deserve each other). Danny Parkins -- who earlier this month left his WSCR gig for greener pastures as co-host of "Breakfast Ball" on FS1 -- kept WSCR competitve ratings-wise in afternoon drive (with the over-the-hill MS along for the ride), because Parkins is funny, self-deprecating, clever, creative and energetic -- qualities that MS & LH will never attain in a million years. Expecting the new MS-LH show to attract & hold listeners is akin to a studio releasing a movie starring a pair of aging (50-something) B-grade actors, with a screenplay authored by someone who penned dialogue for pantyhose commercials in the 1970s... and expecting the movie to earn $100 million. Bottom line: Dan does not deserve the vitriol and pot shots being directed his way. And I feel sorry for anyone -- including YT channels with 3,000 subscribers -- who have nothing better to do than to jump on this latest hate bandwagon. Grow the F up.

We're a bad team this season is gonna be exactly like last season we have zero pass rush zero run game and one man away from having zero Oline it's gonna get ugly quick Bowles will be on the hot seat by the end of the season

We can’t allow teams to march down and score 7 early with the style that Todd wants to play but at the end of the day the division picture still looks the same. Also eagles don’t have great film to scout for Sunday so that’s a positive

Total team loss. Starts with injuries, then game planning/coaching, then terrible O line protection, receivers couldn't separate, run game was typical, Baker couldn't adjust or get into a rhythm, and the defense was hungover from Detroit.
@davidwilliams48375 күн бұрын
Too many key injuries. The Bucs played over their heads against Detroit but the Broncos were a classic letdown scenario. The offensive line needs to improve in pass protection.

People overreacted to the first two games. Week one Tampa beat a team that hasn't been able to win anything forever being led by a rookie in his first game. Second week imo Tampa got away with a win while being massively outplayed. Honestly the Buccaneers are in big trouble if they don't bounce back hard and fast. This is starting to remind me of watching them slowly regressing and being dismantled in the years after their first superbowl. Bottom line, they haven't been prepared.

Saints and Falcons losing was helpful. If we can manage a win this coming week, and pray the Falcons pull out a win against New Orleans, we'll be okay.

you know I listen yo your show....after a bucs loss and you don't give any real substance regarding how to fix the offense...They have no plan B..even in Detroit...no plan B...Heres a thought..shorter passing routes...3yards crossing horizontal..repeat with pick plays...or hook route 3 to 4 yards...the oline isn't good enough to protect baker that long....receivers running to long of routes... Brady and edleman mendoza, made Plan B work for them..the only receiver on our roster that knows how to find the soft spot is on the practice squad...Thompson...go figure...no plan B Lian...

You know , you got sacked seven times yesterday. The offense didn't play well.The defense didn't play well nobody played well. There are a young team.They gotta stop listening to their press clippings. And they need to get healthy on the defensive line and on the offensive line. I still love the bucs.I still love baker. It's only one loss. Let's move on. And get back on track.

Good teams are supposed to beat bad teams and the broncos were also dealing with injuries. The whole team struggled a bit. Tristan Wirfs had some struggles 🤯🤯🤯🤯 Skule did a lot better than last week with some progress but not much. We have better offensive weapons and that team shut us down. Baker Mayfield made some terrible decisions out there! Also no excuse to have no sacks vs rookie QB with backup Olineman!!!

I'd rather lose to the Lions. This was pathetic. Starters need to be back next week...idc if they're not 100%. Time for Kancey to step up and earn his 1st round pick. And Yaya is invisible!!! Zyon is the only young player on defense that impressed me today. Oh yea...Liam Cohen, we got a guy wearing #13 that needs the freakin ball!!!!!
