The guy is dancing as it is some Darienzo and not DiSarli. He is in a hurry to show all his moves. Moves are there but musicality is not.

For lucky is not a way of dancing, is as many people would interpret with their personalities, unfortunately so many people copy one way of doing things. In Argentina doesn't exist the way of dancing Di Sarli or D'Arienzo. For your comment I understand how much in a box you are. I can imagine that you even don't know what a Cachila is, and if you knew, you will know why Di Sarli played like that, actually we are dancing all the beautiful things the piano does ☺️ difficult but possible. This tango it was register in 1941, also is the period of Di Sarli was playing very fast in comparison what he have done later. So you write something thinking you know something, but trust me there is much more behind not only about the music also about us. Unfortunately people like you that can't see farther from the way they would have done it they can't appreciate something is different than them. We do appreciate things different that us, or our way of doing. Open your ears and listen Di Sarli piano again. Then we talk about musicality

Hi dear peer Tanguero, your comment makes me sad because I know that this sort of understanding of musicality is not your fault but it is due to what is commonly taught out there: superficiality to make people feel good. Someone must have taught your Di Sarli is about the melody and D’arienzo is about the rhythm, good. The next step is, if one truly like Di Sarli and wants his music to be danced’right’, you can start to learn the how Di Sarli became Di Sarli, who he worked with, how his music developed and changed over the decades, and you can dance that difference if you wish. Then you might learn how this is relevant to the ‘melodic/rhythmic’ discussion related to D’arienzo and not only, then you start to learn how D’arienzo was also not isolated but influenced and changed by his peer musicians, and so on. Then you might start to identify different periods of different artists and how intrinsically intertwined they are, maybe you even start to recognise the same musician who played for different orchestra and how he contributed….and you can dance that, too. Of course then you might want to know more about a tango piece, its story and content and so one. My whole point is, my peer tanguero, don’t let superficiality win, and please don’t attack complexity when some people did their work and know more and share this knowledge and understanding in their dance.
