Bella ejecución. ( Los anuncios deberían estar al principio o al final)

I am in awe! Such clarity of playing, yet with emotion, and controlled power is simply remarkable. Fabulous!

Why in the world do some pianists think it's ok to skip repeating the exposition? Do they think they know better than the composer? Great tempo. Everything is bland. No color, no imagination. When will people start playing the music rather than playing technically flawless? And before anyone assumes I played this work over 20 years ago for my final simerster. Lastly my wife is from the Philippines and is one quarter Chinese. My father in-law is half Chinese. Regardless of race if there zero emotion you're not playing music. You're just playing the piano.

Wonderful performance of the Petrouchka movements! Tough music to play, needs this kind of a virtuoso touch!

The tempo alone is hard to believe, but every other element is also brought to the nth degree. And I mean that in a good way! It makes every other performance sound like Kinderscenen 😂

La interpretación de la sonata, maravillosa, no hace justicia al pianista, relegado en el título, que sólo destaca a la violinista

Next time, play what Ginastera actually wrote, and play it at a comprehensible tempo. This mechanical percussionissimo was not music..

I see many people comparing this performance with Yuja’s. Music is not a 100m race where time defines betterness. (Is that a word at all?) Zhang played it very well in his own way. Though I have to say that Yuja’s interpretation is more consistent, dynamic and fluent. I prefer her timing and rhythm. Comparing both with Argerich or Horowitz is not relevant, each time brings it’s own quality of performance and technical possibilities of recording. But, again, I think Yuja Wang brought everything to another level.

Haochen version seems more hard hitting. I thought he got lost in the beginning. Yuja version seems more defined and harmonious. I wish there was a better quality recording of Argerich for a fair comparison. They are all great performers.

One of the very few interpretations which actually bothers about varying dynamics, singing out the melody, taking a breath- as opposed to whizzing to the end.

If you’re looking for another that does this, I would recommend Annique Gottler’s version, even though some may not prefer it due to its melodious character rather than a virtuosic show of this etude
