Thanks for this great tutorial! I needed to add teeth to my grandson’s Dino scarf and couldn’t recall how to make the teeth. It was like riding a bike!

I can't figure out the tightening technique after you first pull the tail, but hopefully I'll get this, cause I wanna make Esther for a friend.

I like the second method, but I really don’t understand why you didn’t just keep the green loop from the previous stitch on your hook. Still, this is a cool technique!

I learned to add the indent by going through the bottom of the head, which often loses tension. Your way looks much more stable. I'm excited to try it! Thank you!

Great video as usual thank you. I’m working on your snowman pattern and there’s a row of 3rd loop after a row of hdc. When I look at the back, there are two bars, do you just go through the first one or through both on a hdc?

Great tutorial. I usually embroider my eyes with yarn, but like the idea of an indentation. Have you ever done this technique with yarn eyes?

Yes, I believe it would still work!

So confused, I have wasted like an hour on the end of magic ring.. Why does this tutorial show 2 strings for the magic loop vs all the others I've seen have one? Also, I have done it like 10x and when I pull the tail, see which tightens, and pull the other first, every single time it made a loop that could not tighten, ruining it :(

I’m sorry you’re frustrated! This video is geared towards people who already have some experience with amigurumi. I have a video specifically dedicated to learning how to do a magic ring: kzbin.info/www/bejne/g4iopnaQbqmYZqs If you haven’t already, you may want to check it out! If my method doesn’t click for you, try watching a few different magic ring videos and see if there’s one that does click. There are lots of methods for making a magic ring, but any of them will work!

What would you do if the neck is bigger like 30 st around??
@jesshuffco2 ай бұрын
A dowel that is 6 st fewer around than the neck should work every time. So if the neck is 30 st around, I’d make a dowel that is 24 st around: 01. start 6 sc into a Magic Ring [6] 02. inc in each st around [12] 03. *sc, inc* 6 times [18] 04. sc, inc, *sc 2, inc* 5 times, sc [24] 05 - 10. sc in each st around [24] Begin stuffing. Add additional stuffing every ten rounds. 11 - 37. sc in each st around [24] 38. sc, dec, *sc 2, dec* 5 times, sc [18] 39. *sc, dec* 6 times [12] Finish stuffing. 40. *dec* 6 times [6] Close with an Ultimate Finish.

On the next rounds, i noticed that my white is more towards the left leg than the right one, instead of it being centered. Is it supposed to happen? Please, if you could, help me because i am starting to feel frustrated bc it is 1:30 am and i had to redo this and still it is like this if you look at it from the front (the b and w aren'ta specific number, this is just a description of my penguin's base atm): Bbbbbwwwwwwwwwwwww Bbbwwwwwwwwwbbbbbb Ffffbbbbbgffffbbbbbb B- black W- white F- foot 😭😴
