Thanks for posting this fantastic tune! Pop til You Drop might be my favorite compilation of all-time.

Thanks man. I hadn't really listened to this song, mostly the first seven or so, so thanks for commenting on it. This is also one of my favorite comps. The bands are all different from each other but go together well like the perfect trail mix. I was surprised it wasn't on KZbin already.

The Beatles music is great -to many of us, their contemporaries. Original band will never ever gather on stage. So, the cover bands have good chance to present their talent. And these guys proved they are very close to the real thing! Excellent performers!

It took me a minute to figure out this is a cover band. When George started dancing that was the big revealer. Still quite entertaining!

No one will ever satisfy the 'purists' ..."Oh, I'm not going to be satisfied with nothing less than the real thing" and will never appreciate pro musicians paying tribute to music that they love. At the same time those 'purists' have no problem with singing/playing Beatles songs themselves for the sheer fun. They want to deny others enjoyment as sticks in the mud. Yeah, the life of the party. As many others have explained about the Fab Four, they are a tribute band, paying respect to music they love and sharing that love with others. For the 'purists' logically you should never play a Beatles song on your keyboard, guitar, or ever sing anything by an original artist because you are defaming the sacred Beatles, etc. Further, no other musicians should even ever do covers of originals. Of course, we know the Beatles themselves started out doing covers, for example Baby It's You. John said his Ask Me Why was influenced by Smokey Robinson, etc etc. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. The Purists should just live on Pure Island next to the Virgin Meanies🏝️ As for other lovers of music, we will be content with being impure -- which imo includes all the greats of music. Everyone was influenced by previous artists and many if not most paid tribute to those inspirations. The Fab Four and other pros deserve their success in reminding musicians/fans that the Beatles music seemingly doesn't grow moribund. 🎵🎵🎵🎵🎵 I give the Fab Four ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ along with their great sound and stage team. Tremendous amount of talent and practice to reach this level.

Who are these imposters kidding? It took me 10 seconds of watching this Bogus impersonation before I hit the stop button. My whole life since reaching my teens has been spent listening/following/viewing videos of the Best Pop Band Ever formed. For anyone to even think that this is the real deal in any way is a grave error of judgement. That said there are other impersonators of The Beatles I've seen....for a person like me who has spent uncountable $$$ collecting records, cd's and other collectables this is a smack in the face.

They don’t claim to be the real deal you idiot. In point of fact The Fab Four are a rather GOOD tribute band. There are a few good ones. It’s a loving and joyous tribute.

Most of my power pop CDs are like that -- but I don't throw them away!
@justplainoltex49914 жыл бұрын
I think the guy on the left is his bullpen catcher and the other guy was also with the Sox - another pitcher perhaps. I saw em on Roy Firestone and was so impressed w/ the two songs they played, I bought the CD the next day. It was so poorly produced, it was unlistenable and I threw it away. I think View is a reference to perceiving the game from the bullpen (that window looks like its from an old time ballpark). I think I remember Jack started as a reliever, but I might be wrong. That was a looooong time ago.
