I just got this as a recommended video! I understand that you didn't have this problem back then, but it can be an issue even today, as there were bogus claims for "True Love" by jun just three weeks ago. I appealed it, and the fake claims are now gone, not just for my channel, but also for any other channel with "True Love" uploaded. Take care! 😀

hi i saw that youve been playing for over a decade i just wanna ask if its possible to play WITHOUT the bar because it seems kind of boring not being able to actually dance and jump. CAN i get better without holding on to it?

The short answer is yes - you can play without the bar. But you will not be able to physically pass all songs in the game or score well on the harder content. Especially over the last few years, the game has gotten extremely difficult. Konami stated they have been writing charts for the game with using the bar in mind since 2001. But I would say using the bar became a necessity more around 2011. You can probably pass and enjoy 80%~90% of the game no bar and still be able to score well, but the last 10%~20% is not realistic to do. Don't even get me started with Double charts either... That is a whole other story. Currently there is really only one prominent no bar player which is "No Bar Ben". He might be a better person to ask this question, but I am sure he will also tell you bar players have an extreme advantage and playing without the bar isn't realistic for scoring on many songs.

I like how Chunithm is still going strong with more updates and features (unlike a certain Bemani rhythm game, sigh..) this really shows how amazing Chunithm is, it’s one of my favorite rhythm games as well!

@@omg_kon It was! Limited to one pressing, so they can be quite hard to get. The full Perfect Sphere is VERY good, but the other mixes are awesome too. Crazy to hear how the original became Perfect Sphere. Anyway, thanks for making these vids, I miss my local DDR Extreme machine to death. Awesome memories - and all the steps are still there in my brain.

This is super old. There are way better ways to do this now, and plus I am sure the links wouldn't probably work/the products used would have been discontinued by now anyways. It was more of a tool to explain how than a guide on where to buy things.

17:38 The strike only affects the Canada Post crown corporation, which does _not_ ship cabinets, AFAIK. There are many couriers that do ship cabinets, PCBs and more. Due to the strike, stores like Buyee have a free extension for stored packages, as companies like Japan Post and USPS won't accept mail destined for Canada.
