I love this movie! I’m a 1980’s baby and this movie brings back so many memories of my childhood. Our 12 year old daughter and I are watching this movie right now 9/21/24 at 6:58pm. The scene where all the kids are playing hide in seek is when I told our daughter this was my childhood playing outside with all the neighborhood kids and my poor kid said that is so cool. Unfortunately we don’t live in a neighborhood like the one I grow up in, so I have to set up gatherings with her friends.

August 2024 Preferred parking is now $15. Every vendor accepts only cash. Drink stands have no prices listed. I attended this 34 years ago and there were a few strange people walking around. Now it’s become a freak fest. I compare it to a summer Halloween party for a lot of LGBTQ community. People in costumes that have nothing to do with the Renaissance era. Saw at least 4 male attendees wearing full length dresses. A dude was dressed in full costume as Jesus of Nazareth, there was a middle aged overweight woman dressed as the Statue of Liberty, majority of costumes were pirates for some reason along with people walking around wearing pointy elf ears, and antlers or horns sticking out of their heads. Weird
