Very nice reaction. 90% of reaction makers didn't notice Flea, Jack Black, Marilyn Manson etc.. Good job

It’s called an “A-cappella” group, no instruments. Pentatonix are an extremely talented group.

The thing that is great about Rush is that every band member is constantly playing a solo at all times - but they blend together seamlessly.

The song is about the producer's two dogs: a German Shepherd nicknamed By-tor (biter) and a poodle nicknamed Snowdog - the song is about the two dogs playing in the snow. You can hear a representation of the Shepherd growling and the poodle yipping - it is hilarious. Neil Peart created an entirely new mythology with the lyrics of this song.

Miku (Rythym/Vocalist) supposedly wasn't playing quite yet. Kanami (Lead guitarist) started teaching Miku guitar after Saiki (Vocalist) joined (Miku wanted to play a lesser vocal roll). Glad to see rock 'n Roll isn't dead and solo's are still alive and well. If everyone in the band shines, no one person will. Give each person the spotlight all the time and everybody wins.

This type of singing group is called A Capella, which means no instruments (similar to Barber-Shop Quartets). The tall blond guy is Scott Hoying-Baritone; the girl is Kirsten Maldonado, Mezzo-Soprano; the guy with the hat is Mitch Grassi, Counter-Tenor; the bearded guy with the turban is Avi Kaplan, Basso-Profundo; the Beatboxer is Kevin Olusola, Tenor/Cellist/Cellist beatboxer. The video was shot in the California Mojave Desert. Penta is Latin for 5 - Tonix is tones...sooo, 5Tones or Pentatonix, affectionately known as PTX. Scott, Kirsten, and Mitch met in a high school in Arlington, TX (between Dallas and Ft. Worth, TX). After graduation they went to different colleges but got back together for a TV competition called "Sing-Off," but 5 person groups were required, so Avi and Kevin came on-board from referrals. If you are familiar with Simon and Garfunkel of the '60s, they composed "Sound of Silence." PTX sang their version of "Sound of Silence."

Thank you for sharing your reaction. Such a classic example of underrated. This album was killer when new. Musicians loved it, record company didn't. No top 40 hits. Record company said1 more and it better have radio hits. Rush said screw you and made 2112. The rest is history

"We need an ambulance". Not going happen out there. Not trying to sound insensitive but the driver was the one that deserved to go down with the dangerous driving, not having life jackets on. Imagine if that boat capsized when it stopped like that in the condition they where in. How many would have been able to tread water.

I don't think they are explicitly a Christian band, though they may well be Christian personally (or not, but the brothers are Polish in descent, so certainly possible). But their lyrics do tend towards the positive, constructive, and peaceful. Very Hopeful. Uplifting. Personally, I love it, I don't need any proselytizing, but this message is good...

They did a couple fun things in concert during that tour. I think it was that one where they started out La Villa Strangiato with a carnival music melody. It was a great show! Working Man was always a treat when they pulled it out in concert.

This was a big hit n the 70's. The lead guitar player was Michael Schenker, who was an original lead guitarist of Scorpions. The lyrics are referring to a feeling that feels like the colors.
