Hi Stephen. I use a winsor newton for the best part. but from time to time Daler Rowney Georgian. The primary colours are always on my palette, and then I include, payne's grey, raw umber, burnt umber, yellow ochre and sap green. I hope this is helpful. In the future I will do a palette video.

Hi Bernie, I find it is far quicker and easier to project the reference image for larger canvases. Hope you find this helpful.

@@MulloArt Thank you. By project do you mean using a projector and tracing the image?

@@berniewatts7598 Yes Bernie, the Projector model I use is in video the description. I sometimes use a grid also, and sometimes I paint without a preliminary drawing as in my seascapes and eye studies. Although on large and very detailed paintings this method would take way too long for me to record. It is great to learn these skills for any artist, but also important to try find time saving approaches to your work when you can.

Hi and thank you. I normally do these studies in 3 to 4 sittings. This allows the build-up of layers that helps with greater depth. I hope this is helpful
