@@TheIdiotChihuahua I’m gonna be honest. That twist really ruined the movie for me. It just felt so abrupt and forced. It genuinely feels like the twist of Alex being evil was just thrown in at the very last minute. It’s like the writers didn’t know what to do with his character and decided to just use the old twist villain trope. Even if Alex being evil was always the plan from the very first draft of the script, the execution of it was still poor and comes off as pointless considering that it happens so late in the film. If I remember correctly, it occurs less than 6 minutes before the end credits rolled. Maybe it’s just me, but i think the story would’ve worked so much better if they kept Alex as a good guy for the whole thing.

@superjackster0165 nah Alex being the villain was foreshadowed from the very premise in the beginning- he brought his gf to be married to his family, knowing damn well that the hide and seek game could happen, all because he refused to explain to her why her demands to get married wasn't a good idea because he couldn't stand the other possibility of her leaving him if she knew. And we know by her own admission that if he told her beforehand she would have stayed in some other way, he cared more about keeping her to himself than keeping her safe
