An insightful presentation on a contemporary and challenging topic relevant to many societies around the world today. Australia could learn from Bristol's measured and collaborative approach to the toppling of the Edward Colston statue in Bristol and the city's history of slavery in the 17th and 18th century as public monuments to our colonial past come under question. Dr Shawn Sobers shared his experience and research and insights and facilitated a in depth question and answer session.
