Wasn't Eddie the original guitar shredder? When I was at music/pop/jazz college mid-1980's shredders were everywhere. They worshipped Eddie and Ingwie Mamstein. Not sure who else. I was serious jazz violin (and some guitar). It was a great fantasy. Diamond Dave Lee Roth had a hight extreme performance schtick...Sammy has a good KZbin channel. I don't really know his work, but he does seem to have some depth. He used to own a club in Cabo San Lucas, and his own brand of tequila. My South Tex Mex wife used to there when we lived in west coast Canada. keep on rockin in the fee world, Tina. Be well...

both great mics, but very different. For your voice I like thew Shure better, cleaner with more detail. But yeah, the Telefunken is purple, so that's a plus too 🙂You can always use thew Telefunken for live gigs.

Hi, Ms. Tina! May I ask for some advice? I'm thinking of getting my first ukulele. Even though I'm a beginner, I want a good quality one. I need a tenor one since I have bigger hands. But the prices seem to vary greatly. I found one I really, really like for around $300. Is that too much for a beginner uke? It's a Kala Archtop ukulele. I've researched it and watched demo videos and love the tone and versatility of it. I don't want to overreach or buy something that's "less than." I'd appreciate any thoughts you might have, if you feel like sharing. Thank you!
@MsTinaZee20 күн бұрын
Hi John: I love the looks for those Kalas. That would be a good choice, for sure. My best advice is to find an instrument store and try as many ukuleles as you can. You'll have better luck finding an ukulele you love if you have hear it and feel it. You'll find your preferences in tone and reverb and the thickness of the neck, etc. It will just feel right. If that's not possible, find a handful of videos of people playing the uke you're considering. Make sure the tone sounds good in your ear. That's the most important thing. You can find a $100 ukulele with a tone you love, and a $10,000 uke with a tone that just doesn't do it for you. Good luck! I look forward to your first video!

Wow! I haven't heard this in years. I remember hearing this when I was quite teeny tiny. (Yes, I'm that old LOL) My sister had the 45 record of it and played it constantly. But I didn't know all the history behind the song. The one tidbit that really blew my mind was that these guys turned into Rufus. I never would have guessed that one. Anyway, this was fun! And BTW, I love the behind-the-scenes info on the songs you perform. Thanks, and have a lovely day, Miss Tina!

You spurred an interesting conversation with this comment. I have lots of talented musical friends, and most of us noticed this trend of people popping onto our channels with advice, but almost always will have no content of their own. Indeed, checking your channel reveals a big "This channel doesn't have any content" message. If you produce nothing, explain why you feel qualified to critique someone who does? Can I see and hear your vocals? It's like having a cooking channel and taking advice from someone who can't put together a PB sandwich. I look forward to learning about your credentials.
