Richard is a tireless self promoter and braggart. You have a conversation with him and you get his resume. Like you can go to a few different spots on the internet and the article is like "he...did this, and he did that" but a lot of people did a lot of cool things but you don't see them posting it everywhere as if somebody else found him to be so amazing that they just had to write about this famous guy who is only a tiny bit famous because of this non-stop bragging.

Writing a comment in year 2021. I'm sending a message to the future, year 2021 has improved a little since year 2020. Year 2020 will go down in history as the worst year ever. So to whom ever this message may reach in the near/far future, do people still practice kendo?

*Some facts about Muay Chaiya* The Muay from the city of Chaiya mainly refers to a certain Ajarn Ket Sriyapai. Ket Sriyapai was the son of a governor who was active in sports promotion and brought Muay Veti fighters (Muay Thai) from Chaiya to Bangkok to promote them there. Ajarn Khet never learned Muay Thai himself. The only reason why he is called "Ajarn" is that he has written and published some (fictional) stories about Muay Thai fighters. Ajarn Ket came from a high-ranking family and therefore never fought in a boxing ring. That would have been inappropriate for his standing. His actual profession was civil servant in the building industry. Later Muay Chaiya generations (for example Ket's school friend Tonglor Yalee) mixed normal Muay Thai techniques with Silat (Indonesia), Wushu (China) and Jiu Jitsu (Japan). For these reasons Muay Chaiya, and everything that comes from this direction, can neither be called an old nor a real Thai martial art. Source: Pantip. com (dig deep and you’ll find what they don’t want you to know! 🤫)

Richard Heselton is an arrogant bastard. He makes fun of handicapped people, and he takes anabolic steroids and enters events in which the competitors are most likely natural. Therefore, he is a cheater, and therefore immoral. He is trying to compensate for something, maybe a small penis, or maybe daddy didn’t love him enough. Such a sad excuse for a human being. Really popular with 12 year olds, though.

To add to the description, you not only earn the black belt in 11 months in the Yoshinkan Senshuei Aikido course, but you earn a teaching certificate. There is a parallel (non-senshuei) Yoshinkan Aikido course there which is shorter than the Senshuei course, and in which both Senshuei and 'ordinary' (non-Senshuei) trainees train together at various points, and you also earn a black belt in Aikido in that course, but not the teaching certificate. Robert Twigger's book, 'Angry White Pyjamas' is an absorbing account of the Yoshinkan Senshuei course.
