I'm over 50 and I was looking for some guidance on how I could get back into shape and I found you. This was the first video I played and I was met with profanity within the first 15 seconds. I thought you should know that, because you choose to use that sort of language, you are losing viewers, like myself, who find that sort of language very offensive and off putting.

This is such a worthwhile & underacknowledged point! For me, those channels that give you the opportunity to see the process & progress behind achievement & mastery is one of the best bits of the kind of content now available via social media & video sharing platforms though. Not a gymnast, but i find gymnastics content from athletes like Gracie Kramer, of learning & testing new skills, particularly great for that. Seeing the absolute chaos, trial & error, fear, etc. that precedes eventual seemingly-effortless mastery of skills is incredibky eye opening.

@@fe5018thanks! A lot of my audience is my fellow boomers and we’re already starting to wrestle with the realization that some things that we used to do effortlessly are either a little tougher or the real jarring part comes when they feel impossible. What I hope to communicate is that not the end of the world, but hopefully a wake up call to start being a little more deliberate about moving a little more and enjoying challenging ourselves a little every day. It doesn’t have to be grueling, even mildly difficult will start making a difference.

How’s the knee? Thinking about getting stem cells too. Little nervous about it
@abalancedyou4 ай бұрын
my knee is responding slower than my shoulder but part of that may be that I've pushed my knee a lot harder than i've pushed my shoulder. I tweaked my knee shortly before getting the injection and I never really gave it much rest time. I haven't been doing heavy leg work at the gym, but I usually walk at least 2 1/2- 3 miles every day. My shoulder was hot garbage before I had the injection and I'm amazed at how much better it feels. I went back to the gym today, took it super easy, but so far no issues.
