Adam, I have a question about taking an RV like the Armada 44B you featured on an extended international trip. For someone looking to drive an RV around the world across multiple countries, including places with strict guidelines like Japan, are there services you could recommend that provide comprehensive assistance? Specifically, I'm wondering if there are companies that can handle all the paperwork, permits, licensing, logistics like international shipping, and also communicate restrictions and what networks to use for driving an RV legally through various nations with differing regulations. Having experts facilitate that entire process and navigate requirements across borders would make it possible. Any insights you could provide would be greatly appreciated!

You should really add in your videos footage with the slide in. This model is great but with the slide in you cannot access the bathroom or bedroom, plus it covers the breaker box panel when in. Not ideal. Showcase the good and the bad.

What is the difference between this FD2 and the 144 FD2? I’m noticing design differences between some of the FD2 models. Some seem to have better quality materials and some features are completely different. I’ve seen differences in the screen door design. It wasn’t a sturdier full screen door that slid across like this one. It seemed more pliable and mesh like and not as sturdy. Even the cabinetry looked different and most notably are the shower doors. Some were half frosted glass like this and some were fully wood. I’ve even seen differences with the refrigerator. I don’t get why the differences. They were all stated to be FD2 models. Can you perhaps clarify? I also would’ve liked if it was a convection microwave oven. Does that vary as well? This is still a beautiful van RV.
@usedRV10 ай бұрын
Thanks for your comment! All FD2 models are technically 144s. The 144 refers to the wheel base.
@usedRV10 ай бұрын
There are a variety of options that American Coach offers including many of the factors you've described above. I would need to see the van that you're referring to to get a better idea of the differences and why they are different.

Beware of Forest River/Rockwood/Flagstaff models. Mine had serious manufacturing defects which they admitted to, towed the camper back to the factory, then proceeded to return it to me severely damaged. They've agreed to fix the easy, cheap stuff but not the expensive, important stuff. If you think I'm just one disgruntled customer, take a look at the Better Business Bureau's Forest River page - 1 star out of 5. If I can help just one person not go through the months long agony and financial hardship I have, it will be enough. Thanks for reading.
