大鶴版の湾岸ミッドナイトは悪魔のZとアサクラアキオのワード以外は原作マンガとのストーリ－設定等の共通項は無いです。 ブラックバードの本名も違うし、悪魔のＺを作った人は原作は地獄のチューナー北見淳ですが、このビデオシネマは神谷恭介となっており、日産の元エンジニアだった人 （S130のドライバー）が製作しています。 ちなみにビデオ版の悪魔のZは元々神谷が製作完了する前に世に放出されてしまったがために、性能を十分発揮できるような車ではなかったものが、アキオが神谷の所在を 探し再度チューニングしてもらう事で完成型となり再度公認車検を申請しています。 神谷曰く「俺は改造屋じゃねぇ！正々堂々と公道を走れる車を作るんだ」セリフの詳細は違っているかもしれませんが、こんな内容の事を言っていました。

Potato is 1.3 megapixels and look laggy, digital. This was shot with film camera, granted it's no Arri or Panaflex.

Good gear was VERY VERY expensive back then and they probably didn't have the money for crazy cams as they put a lot of money into the cars as the cars are actually tuned not like in F&F

There was in fact a white S130 in the Mid Night Racing Team, besides the infamous red ABR S130. I've seen a vintage photo of it, shared by one of the original Mid Night members so I know it's legit. Although in the photo it had the stock front bumper with fog lights mounted. There was also a white S130 with an ABR kit in other photos. It makes me wonder if the car used in this film was one of those cars at some stage of it's life, or if those two white S130's were in fact the same car, just taken at different stages of it's transformation.

There was also a blue S130. Those cars are unrelated to the white S130 built for this film, the white car(s) were long-gone by the time the film was in production.

There is also a silver s130's but they all had turbos on it , besides devil z has no turbos on it

The camera car has to be able to follow somehow... Those car's are capable of over 300kmh tho. The Devil Z in this movie was built by Speed Shop Shinohara. Sadly mr. Shinohara died and the shop closed down as he didn't have a son or somebody to continue and ever since this Z has bin missing.

実写版、この当時は全編CGというわけにはいかず、撮影にあたり、実際に湾岸を走ったんでしょうね 背景も合成はわずかでしょう そういう意味ではかなり貴重な映像ですね

I think it's because the camera vehicles weren't powerful to follow a fast speed or, they aren't street racers.
