I think in first match Lucas shoulda let it go like 10 seconds earlier, I don't know why he kept hanging on because he was gassed out and no way of getting up and pressing so maybe it's the youth in him. Unnecessary if ya ask me. It's not about pre-accepting defeat but more like assessing the situation and analytically ending effort to save energy for the next round. If your energy is not gonna get you a win, why bother?

2:40 why is it legal to be under the table and have your arm completely extended like this? These rules need to be changed. Arthur won this match 30 seconds before it was called. When your opponents arm is fully flattened out, there is nothing else you can do to win besides throwing his entire body over the table. I understand the elbow on the pad rule... but its not even your elbow when you're flattened out like this its your entire arm on the pad.
@perlaw1012 күн бұрын
A lot of people say it is part of the technical aspect of the sport. We need a unified rule set... maybe
@Djfjfjrhhrjrhrhfj12 күн бұрын
@@perlaw10 Yeah I like the Kings move to a certain extent, but there's a difference between a healthy defensive stance and being completely flattened out and cheating the system. Not sure what the fix is, but hopefully Engin or someone is looking into it.
@mence599211 күн бұрын
The rules at EvW and KOTT are good. King's move must be limited, Like the Press Is limited by not touching and not crossing center
@Djfjfjrhhrjrhrhfj11 күн бұрын

Devon is smart. No matter who he pulls in practice, he finds a way to train something in his arm by giving up some other part of his arm.

Imo, strength-wise not the same but probably very close. Still plenty for oleg though when factoring in his table IQ and experience. He is the favorite against anyone in the light 105kg or 115kg weight classes
@sui616021 күн бұрын
@@perlaw10 I see thanks, you know why the sudden switch back to table time instead of heavy lifting? Seems like he doesn’t think he has to take Oleg as seriously as the supers, which would make sense.

he said 275lbs(=125kg) in his channel. So,he should cut his weight about 20kg in 3 weeks for the match.
