Very happy to move on... BUT good grief we had major coaching issues yet again. Coach K's play calling was absolutely terrible and why didn't Franklin step in to correct it? Anybody who knows anything about football was screaming "run the freaking ball" yet coach K was determined to live up to his "creative" reputation and repeatedly give BSU another chance to get back in the game. Last week's decision to go for it on our own 19 yard line, up by 14, and now this. Franklin and his staff have a history of making really bad in-game decisions, we need someone to create a video montage of the buffoonery over the years. Unfortunately, this will likely cost us as the competition level continues to increase. Defense played great. WE ARE... happy but frustrated after a very big win vs. an inferior opponent. 🙄

People forget that Cephus came in wayyy too late not having time to learn the playbook. Devonte Ross will have plenty of time to learn the play book and is a much different player.

I was kinda hoping Ross will replace Clifford. If he comes back then Franklin's bromance with Clifford will keep him on the field. PSU needs to get a good slot receiver and methinks Devonte Ross may be the guy. Tre Wallace is going to ruin any legacy he has at PSU if he leaves so no way he's not coming back. Tre Wallace is ready to breakout. I like what Franklin did with receivers. He can concentrate on LB and D-line now.

Penn State needs to add Boise State's D immediately and put up TD'S to put the game into the Boise State QB's hand, because the passing game isn't very threatening. I admire and respect the Boise State program that has beaten numerous College Football Goliaths (Oklahoma/Georgia), which the Nittany Lions shouldn't underestimate what the Smurf Turf Boys gameplanning and mindset will be in the Fiesta Bowl! Both programs have never lost in the Fiesta Bowl!

Most of the critics of the playoff, which is not perfect, have come from social media which is mostly comprised of young people that speak non-sense. Please stop addressing their non-sense on your podcast, your peers on BWI beat that dead horse routinely. Keep the high ground. Yes, we have 2 blow outs (likely 3, Clemson is getting beat up) but that is college football. Even when we had just 2 teams (BCS), most of those games were lopsided, it's is part of this sport that is played by young men who are highly susceptible to emotional momentum swings. I have been waiting over 50yrs for a real playoff. Finally! They need to do some tweeking but I have no issue with the teams that are in. BS and ASU have no business getting a bye week, that needs fixed. I think everyone agrees with that. Still yet, this is the best that it has ever been in CFB.

People don’t realize that Drew will not reach his full potential unless they get a true WR1 in portal. I think he will be better in NFL than college.

With the portal you need a backup to always be 2 years behind the starter for things to work. When you have 2 QBs in the same class someone will leave (regardless of which program). Texas will have the same situation if Ewer stays.

PSU had to commit to improving the WR room for this to happen.
