Hi Dean would it be possible for an update vid of the whole car 😉, like a walk-around while it's idleing and maybe a drive along? Curious to check it out. I've got a 2010 SS 6 speed manual too, always keen to feed my brain with info on these Camaros. Cheers mate.

Question about the flange piece (flared pipe with flange) does the flange (not the pipe) move around the pipe? I purchased a used set of pipes and need to get the flange to sit flush against the head but not sure if they're stuck

@deanhanson4396 ай бұрын
@riccardomariasabatini4785 it definitely is tricky, but you pull up carefully and firmly on the plastic body right above the spacer until you lift it high enough to remove the spacer.

Question, how did you get your aftermarket gaskets to seat in the head? I have tried 4 hrs in the freezer and no shrinking.
@deanhanson4397 ай бұрын
I used the ones that came with the exhaust system. They were a tight fit, but they worked out just fine. You shouldn't have to freeze them.

Thank you for the vid. I'm in the process of installing mine now. I've got the exhaust pipes installed. I got the Power Commander 6 that's already been flashed by Brock's for this bike and exhaust. I have yet to install that, but that's next. Do I need to remove the two O2 sensors like you did?

Spoke too soon I see you added the pair block offs within your video. Good install..
@deanhanson4398 ай бұрын
Yes the plug comes with the system, so there's no need to buy the plates unless you want to save a little bit of weight and do a complete delete. The Moore Mafia flash has a pops and bangs option if you want it included in the ECU flash.
@robcrawford10928 ай бұрын
Did you add the pair block off plates that come with the system? I wouldn’t mind a little popping upon decel.
@deanhanson4397 ай бұрын
The system comes with a pulg, not the plates you have to buy the plates separately. They basically do the same thing, but the plates totally delete system and make the bike a little lighter. The plug just blocks it off. I still get a few pops and bangs on decel every once in a while, but probably because of the ECU reflash.

How do you know when the lifter is set in the tray properly? Does it click or anything like that so Indicate that it’s in all the way?
@deanhanson43910 ай бұрын
Yes, you can feel them set into the tray all the way, and you do kinda feel it hit the bottom of the tray. Once you install the trays with the lifters into the block and bolt the trays in place, you will install the push rods that will push the lifters out onto the cam lobes. You have to do this to get the rocker arms on.
