Hey, lovely space. It also sounds very boomy, the downside of a big open space with hard surfaces. What do you do to ensure that everyone can hear when everyone's, say, up on their feet excited, laughing, etc? The space looks great, but what about the boom and echo?

Thank you for sharing your eloquent road tested wisdom. It is so helpful to hear you give voice to these truths about facilitating communal learning and bonding. This totally resonates with my experience with this crucially important work/play of propagating cultural incubators like Acro Yoga and Singing Dojos.

So I guess I'm a bit confused. Prioritize personal happiness and joy, I understand that. And, without doing this, you created a worldwide movement that touches hundreds of thousands of lives and changes the whole world for good...? And, without a loving partner as well? What you achieved seems to me as rare and difficult as threading a dozen needles while skydiving. I actually want to learn what you did to do THAT. Do you feel you would have been much *more* successful with your movement if you had done things differently?

well, i guess i can say that for a long time teaching and spreading AcroYoga was my joy and brought me into contact with the most wonderful people who became my family. and i did have some loving partners during that time as well. however, without putting myself first, it became unsustainable for me personally in the long run. i think i would have been a better role model to my students if i had taken more time off, traveled less, and taken better care of myself. i think i could have helped the movement spread more quickly and easily if i had delegated and empowered them to share more on my behalf. thanks for asking!
