The reason she got 5 consonants and 1 vowel were because of her score. Australia version you get 2 consonants and 1 vowel and then an extra consonant for each $2000 they earn!

I Think that is Quite Rare to see it Come into Australia, In United States Version of the Wheel. They Get 5 Consonants and 1 Vowel to Start off with and then they'll have 3 Consonants and 1 Vowel to Help them Along, but if they have a Wildcard CA. VHS. They'll have 4 Consonants and Vowel to help them along as Well.

Was it just me or did the letter chimes sound different during the first part of round 1? Also, I'm surprised they didn't "bong him" for pronouncing "Surfin'" as "Surfing" like they did in that 1996 episode!!

Sounded very much like the New Zealand sound, but theirs was lower in pitch than this one. The Bankrupt sound effect during this era was the same as New Zealand but lower-pitched.

Yikes one of the best games I've seen. Rob wasn't wrong when he said "cat amongst the pigeons" with his spin. A rare occasion of a contestant actually deciding which of his opponents wins the game

Not sure about the air date, but it was most likely sometime during March. Note Rob's mention of "a late Valentine's present" and the "Cash Bonanza", which was likely a reference to the Family Week, in which the save-state rule "re-debuted" after the moved to Sydney in July 1996. Also, did I hear the Bankrupt sound from the NZ version, or is it just the audio???
