Yes, we are fearfully and wonderfully made. Intricately formed in our mothers womb by the Masters hand. I am older 50+. I am a natural TWA by choice, no makeup, Christian woman of African American descent, and I love it! I don't have a lot of gray, but I am not going to stop it from doing its thing. It was a decision I made a long time ago. I was never really a makeup girl when I was younger. Like yourself I would wear a little here or there, but I never felt the need to wear it, nor did I feel insecure about not wearing it. It just wasn't my thing. Like yourself I didn't know how to apply it; and it wasn't a big thing when I was in middle and high school. So I just stuck with it. I love seeing young ladies growing in CHRIST. Discovering their identity in HIM. And sharing the knowledge gained. It encourages and helps me to continue on this journey. Having a relationship with GOD and coming into a better understanding of his perfect will for our lives naturally places a desire within us to want to do and be better for HIS GLORY in all aspects of life. Becoming a natural hair girlie 10+ years has had a trickling affect on the whole natural process as well. No shade to my makeup ladies or otherwise. I love all of us. So thank you for sharing your testimony. Just know that the same way one has to take care of oneself when one is younger, and chooses to do so, through various ways (diet, hygiene, hydration, exercise, sleep, meditating on the Word of GOD, prayer, fasting, and worship); the motto will be the same throughout ones lifetime. I relate to this all too well. Went through this my very self. God had to deliver me and I did grieve a whole life I thought I would have. I’m currently engaged and will be married in 4 months. I’ve learned a lot through this. I hope I’m able to help someone else move past being stuck.
