Every now and then an artist creates a song that seems to come from my own life experience. I'm so grateful for this tune and for whoever inspired it, and thank God for Duke's and a good home tomato. If you're from home you know what I mean. Esse Quam Videri.

You boys should spend a bit more time in Canada. I started listening about a year ago and this is my album of the year. Keep on killing it!

Saw this first when American Aquarium played the Five nights, Five Albums in Athens. BJ sets it up really well, and is the case with this one, all of his song-writing is thoughtful and honest. It was great to see this one come up on my YT feed.

Takes me back to growing up at my granddaddy and grandmamas with my cousins in late 80s rural middle Georgia, on my mamas side, they’re gone now and it makes me hurt in my heart, but with awesome memories

🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺 Love the imagery and nostalgia. "These beans ain't gonna snap themselves" - I can totally see my grandfather now bent over a bushel and Grandmama cutting up the fatback for the pot.

Beautiful song! That guitar lick is fantastic. Not a critique -- but I would love to hear a version without the pedal.

One of the best songwriters working today, supported by four enormously talented musicians whose rapport with one another brings to mind Springsteen and the E Street Band!

Great song to the best tomatoes in the world, and we grow here in London, UK with seed from Montecello
@kevinlance18136 сағат бұрын
We are frequent travelers to England from North Carolina, my ancestors emigrated from Wiltshire in the late 1700s. Where we come from a home grown tomato is almost a religious experience. Cheers and come see us.

Best song I’ve heard in years. Reminded me of both my grannies back in the 70s in Louisiana! Made me tear up like a baby. Wow!

This reminds be of my childhood memories being left with my grandparents in Appalachia in the Blue Ridge Mountains. I would do anything to have another summer running around with Grandpa all day fishing, going to part stores, visiting his friends at the pawn shops and produce stands, getting spoiled with treats an candy, and coming back to the cabin to enjoy some tomato Sandwhiches and good southern cooking . RIp Mammy and Pop. This song brings me back to simpler times and I didn't know how good I had it.
