Celebrating 6 years of sobriety today! This song really hits home and it's how I chose to start my day.

I’m pretty sure this song is about trump getting elected. That’s the the thing about music a song is what you make it. Not the artist got feeling that bj wouldn’t like me in person. Still love the music and my country. Hope anyone that reads this a blessed day and enjoy this beautiful country

This song kicks righteous ass! I effing loved this song deep down the first time I heard it. I'm a music fan, not really huge into country but a damn fine song is good no matter the genre. I could listen to this tune til the wheels roll off of this thing!

Takes me back to Cherokee NC, my hometown... earing tomato sandwiches with dukes mayo, listening to gramps and a few uncles picking guitar... enjoying a great memory listening to this song. Such a banger BJ, thanks for blessing the world with this one.

He was just old fashion country. I worked oilfield in Alice Texas back in the early 80’s. Dowell Schlumberger. We had crew supervisor named Johnny Jones. I kept looking at him like what the hell I know this guy. Nope …. Just his face recognition. He was the brother of George Jones. Honest the God truth. I went over and shook his hand. 😊

wife and I were planning on coming out to see you perform tomorrow. Then discovered you performed at a walz event, and have a politically liberal album. That is not very "american" these days. You have good music and wish you the best but we will not support anyone that is in support of 1st and 2nd amendment suppression, gender reassignment in children, war mongering, and mass illegal migration to the USA. You do a great job with your americana folk sound, but your ideals are very un american. I pray one day your eyes are opened to the corruption in this country. God bless.

Every now and then an artist creates a song that seems to come from my own life experience. I'm so grateful for this tune and for whoever inspired it, and thank God for Duke's and a good home tomato. If you're from home you know what I mean. Esse Quam Videri.

Saw this first when American Aquarium played the Five nights, Five Albums in Athens. BJ sets it up really well, and is the case with this one, all of his song-writing is thoughtful and honest. It was great to see this one come up on my YT feed.
