Fathers, thank you. God bless the Vocations. 00:30 I had to laugh. My mantras are, “I’ve lost my under-73 club privileges”, and “I need the next 73 years to make up for these first 73 that I’ve screwed up so badly”.🇺🇸

Thank you, Fathers. I really like hearing these stories, be the calling from age 4 to after involvement in activities that survival with an un-fry’d brain is just a scooch below a Heavenly miracle. The central aspect of all these vignettes is the CALL (in these days of my return, “discernment”?), made and, ANSWERED. I have great respect for the men and women who embark on a religious life. . Be assured, I have NO such calling - except maybe as fodder for the confessional.🇺🇸

My husband and I have listened 3 times to this profound talk and we know we will be listening again and again. Thru Father Peter’s sharing of this magnificent grace he received our own faith has been deeply bolstered. Father was very candid in this talk and so were uplifted by God’s goodness to him and to us. This is a talk that one should not miss.

In Fr. David story, he asks if a dove could crash his window as a sign….well that’s exactly happened to me….on Easter Saturday 2020. A hawk took an innocent dove….and threw him against my window and killed him. My house become a calvary for that innocent dove. I still think about it a lot. And on the holiest of weekends. And my house was blessed by 3 Holy Priests before this.

Get ready for 1000s of them. The Neptune Society, catholics for cremation Catholic Church that has a cemetery anywhere in the United States. They will find you they will call you. They don’t care that it’s 8 o’clock on a Saturday morning. They don’t care that. It’s 9 PM and a Thursday night and you’re just taking advantage of getting to go to bed and a little bit earlier, I’m just when you think you’ve heard all you can possibly hear the phone calls for Medicare are going to start our days and I do not answer my phone if I do not know who it is that I have had as many as 35 calls for Medicare. and I am already passed it. I’m already on Medicare and then they got upset because I was on an advantage plan. You’re gonna hear about those two lots and lots of it. It’ll be to the point when you look down at your phone and will be interrupting something that is incredibly important, or maybe just some quiet time but you had with a book. My Home Care associate marvels at how often my phone rings and how many times if I don’t know it or it says Healthcare, I’ve just press voicemail cause I don’t wanna hear it for you’re only 55 minutes you’re gonna love 65. Hopefully by then I’ll have some nice rules in place about how you can, talk to people and when you can’t. I hope I’m still around for it in the meanwhile it’s interesting learning more about you. I’ve been listening to your talks. I’ve read several of your books would be an absolute thrill of the time that you offer an adult program that I could find out about it because it would certainly interest me. May God continue to keep you in the palm of his hand.

Bl Solanus Casey found me when I quit my career to raise my kids 3 years ago. I was lost and scared. He reminded me to be grateful ahead of time. 🥰 Now I’m faced with having to re-enter the workforce and the anxieties that come with added career stress. I find myself once again being presented with this man’s beautiful heart and wise words inspired by the Eucharist. “See God will provide” 🙏🏻Praise to you Lord Jesus Christ.

Thanks. Recent return, shrived of apostasy, restored to communion. All I wanna do is sit in the back of the Church, partake of the Sacraments…and get tamales at Parish Family Fair. I do not want to sing in the choir, go on a mission, or tell the Pope how to be Catholic. Yeah, just hide out in the fold. Although, some you boob commentators monicker the likes of me as “RECON”. Puts a little strut in my step. Semper Fi.

I was confirmed later in life & chose Thomas Aquinas as my name. Glad to hear they were friends and apparently had quite similar views on our faith. I was ignorant about St. Bonaventure; but since confirmation feel like The Holy Spirit has blessed me with at least 1 of the things he wrote about on our path to Christ.
