Are you using back pressure with that lay down call? Sounds pretty close it is tuned a little low on the front end. It would be helpful to know if it has a round or square front and if it designed for short or long barrel short reeds. I buy new guts about 3-4 times a year to try them out. Is it running sr2 reeds or does it have a totally new gut style and reeds? Also does it have a dish gut system or is it flat top? And have you modified the Reed in any way. I'm extremely curious because it's close to what I am looking for sound wise, probably order a few in a few weeks. I'm looking for a short barrel gut with hard materials with a lower end. I basically am modifing existing guts at this point and I ruin about two guts and 4 or 5 reeds setting one call up because the equipment to T dent shaved reeds doesn't exist and what I use is manual pressing with a 3 lb hammer and a block of wood, and rounding the inner break on the guts. Both would be a lot easier if there was a machine press that would hold leather punches and steel reeds but that's probably way more than a few sets of guts. But your set up is really close if it's the natural sound. I'm definitely interested thanks for the video.
