For anyone with no banana, just use a see through cup with moist soil and put it int a see through baggy out of direct sunlight but some light no need for heat mat>>>I do this with black sapote too>>>>US PEAT MOSS for your soil and just make sure it doesnt dry out but isnt too wet

Fake video. Calatheas can only be propagated through seeds or division, there was no node so no way a stem grew from that.

@@violethouseworth5943 from my research - no actually, Calathea can't be propagated from leaf cuttings. It can be - from stem cuttings as long as it has a node.

@@violethouseworth5943 not possible through leaves, This video is misleading only some Calathea have tht division through leaves, like Jungle velvet Calathea and Calathea leitzei and golden Mosaic can be propagated through leaves nodes, Which have an division for s new plant.
