Fall off the bone is easy to cook. Just over cook them: EZ-PZ

What griddle is that for your timberline 850?

If they are coming off the bone that easy, they are over cooked. If that is what you are into, then you do you. Properly cooked ribs should not fall off the bone. They should hold to the bone and come off clean when pulled away from the bone. That being said, I'd eat that whole rack.

Great video. Can you please confirm your temps for each of the 3 stages? In the beginning for your 3 hours smoke you said you use 200 but when you wrap them you said you increase the temp from 225 to 250. Therefore I’m not sure if you used 200’or 225 for the first 3 hours. Thanks.

Looks good! Trying ribs on the traeger right now for the first time. The recipe book said 180 degrees for 3 hrs, then 220 for 2 hrs. Not sure if it’s hot enough. I like my ribs to fall off the bones too, so I’ll follow your recipe next time! Thanks

Leave it at 180 to 200 all the way thru the 3-2-1 method. 3 smoke, 2 wrapped, 1 sauced!Low & slow wins the race. They WILL fall right off...YUM!

180 is perfect for the initial smoke. I always jack it up to 225 after that and ride it home.

"I could put on all 4 at the same time but I am out here to have fun" best line ever. I gave it a like. I bought a griddle but I went back to a carbon steel pan over the hopper. the Traeger's need to put the hopper in the middle of the grill like pitboss did. you got to try the oklahoma onion burger method and make another video! those are my favorite but maybe not for kids. they call it the recession burger because it is equal parts beef and onion. cheers buddy from southern california.

If you use a small square of parchment paper on top of the burger when smashing it helps keep the burger from sticking to the Spatula.

Too much talk on the seasoning and what he likes to do we don’t have to see everything he’s doing and no one needs a lesson on the smoker way too long and boring.he should just show the cook is this guy a salesman for treagar or what this guy likes to hear himself talk this would not make completion ribs a little tug is good

Did you take the lower rack out first? And is the griddle right over the flame? I just got the ironwood 885 and like the looks of that griddle. Do you have a link to where you got it at?

A few things 1. Food scientists have found out if you season your burger mixer makes for a tougher burger 2. Also by mixing the meat that much you are making a tougher burger, keep your patties as loose as possible you can tell that his happened in your video because as you push down to smash the burger it bounced back at you 3. Using cheese like that will render a greasy cheese pool, American cheese will provide a better melt and texture without greasy gross cheese
