I can confirm Tobaro is the equivalent to Genoa. Also, I don't know if it's a coincidence but "tabaro" in Genoese means Cloak, the city was actually divided jn different factions which crippled its prestige and the prince might be inspired from Monaco, which was born from a Genoese family. Even the character of the locals being closer to the Dwarfs is funnily enough coincident with the stereotype of the Genoese people being not super friendly

I just found these videos, and man, you’re so right. Ruined my morning to find out. I’d just started painting Leapolds Leopard Company with this on in the background and was just expecting to binge as I painted. 1 1/2 hours later… silence…
