I believe that’s the last surviving Denver Dry Goods elevator in existence. That store as a whole is one of a kind and I’m glad JCPenney didn’t renovate when they moved in.

I like how the bumper was the style commonly used on Montgomery. I also noticed it had the cutouts for the optical sensors yet this elevator had none. This makes me believe that the original bumper must have been damaged and replaced with this style.
