I loved these games so much!!! Primal fury with penguin boy still one of my favorites. That anime opening gave the characters so much depth! I really wish they would do a reboot.

I played the original Japanese release of the first game A LOT as a kid, and I really don't like the changes they made to the first intro in the US release. I can understand changing Greg's race, but cutting the iconic monologue scene and changing the logo at the end for a worse version irk me. It sucks that's the version I'm stuck with when I play it after buying the game from the PS Store. :/ If only Konami released a Bloody Roar collection with different country releases available in it like they did with the newer Castlevania collections...

I am hoping Konami does that idea as well. They own all these games. Even if they were straight ROM dumps, I think the value would still be justified especially with all the various version differences.

It's sad that Konami now holds the IP to Bloody Roar. A reboot would be nice but with the way Konami does things now.... there's no hope.

The second game's arcade opening WAS shown; it's the one interloped with the rock band scenes. The first arcade's intro, on the other hand, IS missing.

i laugh hard at all those who worship street fighter, smash bros, and tekken. bloody roar was a stand alone genre and by itself it defeated them all. all the others just turned into milking cows. while this one contained its dignity and honor.

@@TekkenGirl4Lyfe nope, it did contain its very own dignity and honor, legacy, and originality, while other fighting games retained their own style, bloody roar from 1 through 4 all contained their systems, and beatorising systems, and if you do not like BR4, it's your thing truly, but do not reply to me! i love the entire series, and i see more dignity in it than street fighter, snk, or even tekken were ever able to sustain! the fact i am still willing to play bloody roar nowadays, but will never touch any of the formerly mentioned, says something! also just in case, you are blocked. have a good day.
