Bad Subliminal in ALIEN Romulus (example): The synthetic in the movie found in scrap as been refurbished by a poor worker. There's no reason for this artificial person to bleed and sweat milk like Ash in Alien (1979). On this mining colony, the best those workers can afford is probably water. I didn't see any cow in the movie & i'm not talking about actresses here; and with the price of today's milk in the grocery store, i doubt those poor workers can afford milk, let alone for an android. This is bad writing, this is Snow White in space & the 7 illegal aliens & their (im)migration problem. Hell-o Disney! Hi Ho Hi Ho, Hi Ho Hi Ho, ils rentrent du bouleaux... & they lived happily ever after... Holyshit, this was not a great screenplay! The face hugger deep throat sequence, i loved it & i didn't watch any ALIEN Romulus trailers previously. I love ALIEN (1979) and the universe, Fede Alvarez is talented & i enjoyed the movie nonetheless, like any other movies of the franchise. GO see it in IMAX!

I had a good time with this one. Not near the adrenaline rush of Fury Road but Alyla Browne and Anya Taylor Joy did great as Furiosa but Chris Hemsworth was the show stealer for me! I did feel some pacing issues but overall it was an enjoyable return to the wasteland. Great review!

I'm watching this on a 1080p monitor and it still looks breathtaking. I've been watching a lot of 4K video by Panasonic GH5 and this is better. That bigger sensor really pays off. My breath was taken away by almost every shot at how bright and crisp this was, it didn't even seem like you were using a gimbal yet it was still so crisp.

Very nice results. Good coloring! Mind if I ask you what lens you used? I have watched other videos people made in the castle and they are darker. I am very impressed how bright the camera got the inside. What ISO was used? I didn't notice any noise.
