I miss the point where this is even real. Just leave us alone if you're going to butcher us like this. First of all we don't celebrate "Diwali".. this ad is misleading our culture. Shame on Netflix and shame on you who made this or is part of this advertising without proper research. This shows how much the mainland India Cares so LITTLE about the people from the NorthEast. This needs to be taken down !!

Thats why its called "Incredible India", every state is different bound by the same border, they are respected for their ethinicity, their culture, tradition but why not for the people of the NorthEast. And Just because you celebrate diwali that doesn't mean the local people celebrate. By saying that, are you also implying that the indian people living abroad (official citizens of eg: US/UK) when they celebrate diwali, the world will start generalizing it as a common practice for the local people there?? NO! why can't That Basic understanding be there for this country.

I can agree only with the last two points. Other than that this video is a disaster. First thing we don't celebrate Diwali. Second thing there is no rain in Cherrapunjee at this time of the year. It's autumn now here! Authenticity = 0.

First people in this video aren’t from Meghalaya. Second the place is not even Cherrapunji AKA Sohra. Third Diwali means family time games, dance, music, bhajan etc not Netflix.

What an amazing film. This movie brought me into something I never experienced before. Brought me to the 9th Century India. Watching it in IMAX, it feels like I am right inside that universe. No other Indian movie did this to me. Everything looks realistic and authentic
