No. There are so many rufous-tailed hummingbirds and garden emeralds. But this one is a little off.

I did it last year on my Moto Guzzi V85TT, fully Loaded! I came off the bike twice on the switch backs, and almost lost on another occasion. It is a loooong road like this, maybe 30km! it needs 100% concentration, some off road skill (I had none!) and nerves of steel! But, boy, when you get to the end, it was all worth while. The scenery is breath taking, the drop off the side of the road, only marked with small piles of stones, is in some places over a 1000' and more, are not protected with anything other than fresh air and there are Goats and Sheep wandering around up there too... I felt I had achieved something... My bike wasn't damaged, only my pride.

The US has at least 100 flamingos which were carried here during the hurricane. Some are even in Ohio and Kansas. There are many in Florida cove the entire state. Enjoy your birding. It is a lifetime hobby.

I’ve seen some stories about those flamingos. I hope they find their way back home safely. And yes it’s a lifetime hobby. Birding makes so happy :)

Don’t fish near brown pelicans as they will try to steal your bait and become entangled in your line. It happens here often in SE Florida. It is beautiful there. Bon voyage.
