I really don’t want to be a bully or a hater but I was interested in your video until I heard the soul cutting noise of a whistle when you speak your s’s and I just can’t keep watching. Maybe I’m sensitive to certain sounds but I think if it’s an issue for you it’s very easy to fix.

"I don't care about her". That is the worst thing you can say about a character. I'm serious. Literally, you don't care what happens to this main character. You don't like them enough to watch them succeed, you don't hate them enough to watch them fail. They are dull and insipid and pointless to their very own story. Asha is INCREDIBLY forgettable. "Star was too powerful. We really wanted Asha to be the hero." WHY?! If Star made a better protagonist, or you could have had dual protagonists, why make Asha the sole heroine simply by removing Star (and piling most of Star's intended personality with Asha when it doesn't mesh at all)? Oh, I know, I know.... WOKE. Yeah, you heard me. And don't anybody dare start. Because this was Disney's 100 year anniversary, you only get one, EVER, and Disney threw it all away just because they wanted the protagonist to be a Strong Independent Black Woman Who Don't Need No Man, with the personality of used dishwater.

Honestly, I think Disney needs to just stop making movie for about 5-10 years, that way, they can make more original ideas that are actually better than eating melted plastic. Honestly, Pixar has been falling on and off for a while. Their first terrible movie was Cars 2, but they’ve been pulling through.

I kinda like the aspect of snow white being already confident in her body the whole time. It might changed bc she started to try to win over her true love, but still, she isn't a girl who is insecure about her body and thats refreshing to see, especially in a movie about true beauty. Just sad to see what bad marketing does to a good movie :(

14:42 THAT’S WHAT I WAS BUGGED ABOUT THE MOST WITH THIS MOVIE!! I really wanted the message to be that Sam and/or Hazel didn’t need to be adopted by other randoz to be a family cause family or luck/being lucky don’t have to be what the standard is but instead they just had Hazel get what she originally wanted which was a standard family and she still got to see Sam often, while Sam just lives pretty much the same as she did before so all the “character progression” ultimately doesn’t even matter as much after this point 😅

8:16 Basically most good movies fall under the “15 Minute Rule” where the story has to kick off in between the “first 15 minutes” otherwise it keeps the audience feeling like it’s a waste of time til the initial “kick off” of the story in which is a great example as with why the Wish movie feels super off from most other Disney movies that do follow the rule!!

Bro! Disney was actually eating with the original concept and all this deleted scenes, WHY WOULD THEY NOT INCLUDE THEM?!?!😭💔 I remember thinking “was the movie written by a bunch of newbies or what??” While watching the movie, and thats so sad 😢

The character designs are what gets me with this movie. They are _gorgeous._ And in this instance I would argue that many of the places have character... Thing is though, I think part of the reason this movie failed was they spent _too much_ on advertising. Like, clearly remember it was EVERYWHERE whn it came out.
@RHTQ110 күн бұрын
Oh, and it's kinda fitting that the guardian with no believers fights so well. The other guardians are weak without the power/belief they're accustomed to. Jack likely has more power than he's ever imagined (and he's having more fun) in 300 years, with just a small handful of kiddos :)
@RHTQ110 күн бұрын
YEah... the PR really robbed us of more like this. And this movie's creators of their due acknowledgements... You made a lot of good points, but I have to say... I think that sometimes, Merlin needs his more familiar, taller form to pull of the stunts he's used to. Which is why he tries to do them out of sight. I mean, doing cool tricks in his small form could (in his mind) help win Snow's heart, yet he instead tries doing things that she won't be able to see. I say this bc you mentioned it a few times, though I really liked the video :)
