Do I have to used a certain type or denier thread when using this tool?

I can do all the prep work and the body of the fly but those wings have me a nervous wreck trying to get them perfect at the end maybe a couple of Valium would help. 😂😂😂

Bonjour Personnellement je préfère mettre des cerques en coq pardo plus esthétique de mon point de vue. J'adore les ailes Wally Wing bien que très fragile avec la gueule des truites vraiment jolie😊

Can I ask u where you order yours from. If that's ok.
@raymondtucker3127 ай бұрын
I bought mine from the Dakota Angler website.
@malcolmism67 ай бұрын
Thanks for that Reymond. I'm from UK. So I will look at that website. Where is that business from.
@raymondtucker3127 ай бұрын
According to their website they are located in Rapid City, South Dakota (USA). You may be able to buy them from someone in Europe, but I do not have any suggestions. Dakota Anglers have been my first choice for new tying gadgets. They were the first site I found that carried this tool. Good luck.

I have the blue straight, red 4", and green 4.5", they are the only scissors I use now. I put away my Dr. Slick and Loon scissors. I am considering trying the midge half hitch tool for my #24-30 midges. My main fly shop also had them for $39, which is a better deal than online.

Such an awesome pattern! Question: is that badger fur used for the tail or? The only badger fur I can find looks different and much thinner hairs. Any recommendations for a substitute?

Coc de Leon fibres would do the job nicely.

Nice! Do you make heavier somehow this fly during fishing?
@SMHAEN Жыл бұрын
No not the fly. But you can do it with some kind of heavier tube or do it with your leader or fly line this I prefer my self.

Outstanding work! I've been tying flies for a long time. One thing I've learned is there's always something to learn. It's an Art form. Great video!🧐🌲👍
