Haha dude that 1200 has a 0-60 time of like 5.5-5.6 seconds with a professional rider. I have ridden both also except the one I road is a street rod 750. The rod is a power improvement and will do 0-60 in 4.7 to 5 seconds with me on it but up to 100 mph the street rod smokes the 1200. A lot of people don’t realize you have to drive the street series bikes like you would a Suzuki sv 650.

Just ride with ear plugs (If you still have it) helps with exhaust noise and wind noise. Surprisingly, it helps you hear the tones of the exhaust more clearly so it sounds better haha

That's a nice bike. I did the same thing, I'm 35 and the last thing I wanted to do is ride my double r for more then 15 miles. My shoulder blades would scream, so I decided to get a old shovelhead stroker. It's a blast to ride and as far as pain....I can ride all day. But my friends both got sportsters, they are having the same problem with bags.

No it’s not a Joke! If you don’t want feedback post it in a different way. Harley is having a really tough time! An Ironhead sportster is more sought after than any new one.The best bike Harley ever made was the V Rod! And Porsche Engineering designed that motor!

What a moron! People don't pay any attention to loud pipes I've ridden many bikes recently with loud pipes, people cut me off don't give a s*** loud horns save lives! Because they assume a loud horn is a car they will run right over a motorcycle.

I have a 2014 1200 custom, but I like the 750 badge better. More discernible than the custom. I think some one asked me one time if it was a Harley?! Huh?! I know the 750 decal would have served me better.....

Yes, I agree. Sport bike riders do get a bad rap because of the ones (a lot of them) who speed and ride like idiots and that's why they're looked down on. Good luck with your choice. Live and learn.

Omman Sudarya I currently own the sporty and the 750 has gone the the father in-law I mostly changed the subject because I didn’t want to bash on how cheap the 750 was so I was a bit shook making this that bike is pure trash made horrible all the way down to the shitty blinker button

That's pretty much normal, my FI 1200 sportster starts like that. I would make sure your ground cable stud and nut is tight and have the battery tested. With a newer battery there will always be a slight pause / start drag when starting. I did notice it will get even worse if the battery is a little weak or the cables are loose. Don't loose any sleep over this because like I said before it's normal..😎 almost forgot, nice bike.🤙

Well I can't lie I'm a sport bike fanatic and will probably ALWAYS be partial to the " rockets" someday I'm sure a cruiser would be more back and shoulder friendly and really I don't have a hatred of them( I love all bikes) just the majority that ONLY think "crotch rocket" guys are just immature lil punks who ride girl bikes aka less than 1200cc and that real men only ride 1200cc and up while they themselves are too afraid to even sit on a sport bike let alone ride one lol seems like Harley guys hate Japanese bikes but British,German, and even Italian bikes are deemed OK when clearly they are ALL inferior in pretty much every single aspect ( speed, performance, reliability, price etc) Denial is a funny thing but I challenge ANY rider who hasn't experienced the blast of inline 4 cylinder Japanese genius to just take one out for a spin ( just once) I guarantee at least 50% would probably never rag on one again and the respect for the nuts that ride em without fear would gain volumes of respect personally I had cruisers ( as well as dirt bikes) most of my life but went to sport bike a couple years ago when I was bike less and missing the rush and all could afford was a hopped up beat to hell 94 Suzuki rf900r that I'm thinking someone stole from the devil himself bored up to 1100cc with stage 3 jetts and turbocharged intake without a rev limit and aftermarket gear ratio( not sure of exact ratio but 5 speed) with 190 mph on the speedo I only reached 5th gear about three times briefly and I swear it would reach 80 in first making it a red light to red light champion and offered EVERY hater the opportunity to see for themselves and NEVER got any takers of course it shot a flame bout 8-10 inches long out the gutted yoshimura slip on which was intimidating as hell but it woke the sleeping demon in me now cruisers just seem like scooters to me but I'm sure SOMEDAY I will be riding one again but at 45 done missed my best sport bike years gonna enjoy as many as I can before I just can't even sit one one anymore then I guess I'll have to go back to just riding lol
