It must be a reliable engine , the early versions had some oil problems and chain problems but i later versions they used belts and better piston rings

На 36 секунде свист из-за не прикрученного выпускного коллектора. Иногда обламывает крайнюю шпильку. Проверьте затяжку коллектора. Очень частая проблема, но никто ее не упоминает.

1:29 I thought that the whistleling noise was the turbo, but I realised that it was the alternator sound… anyways the engine and the alternator sounds really nice…

Hello, on 00:27 & 00:42 & 00:48 & 1:04 & little on 1:28 when revs goes down you can hear a rattle noise, i've got the same rattle whenever i revving. Have you ever fixed it and if you did what was the problem?

Ein legendärer Motor. Aber das ist halt gute deutsche Qualität. Dieser Motor hat auch einen ganz eigenen Klang. Ich liebe es einfach.👍🏼👍🏼

how can i check if a GLC 220d is single or bi-turbo? is there any app or website where you can check the VIN or something? thx

GLC is powered by the OM654 engine, not the one in the video. The 220d version is single turbo, the 300d version is bi-turbo.

That’s not normal people that’s probably the camshaft adjusters faulty can cause this noise on start up if ignored will cause timing correlation codes eventually

ce moteur est fiable trop de gens le sous estime mais sans le fap on croche pas mal de voiture supérieur avec turbo etc 130 000 klm hier roulement SFK boîte de vitesse a 80 000 klm je fait les vidange toutes les 5000 klm pour garder assurer une bonne segmentation propre attention joint de culasse a 120 000 klm a cause de changement de distribution mais pompe a eau mauvaise qualité Valéo que je dé conseil fortement

Поздрав, имам исти мотор, кад га тако гасирам у леру, чини ми се да нема "чист и карактеристичан" звук мотора, није тако "одсечан"(као на 57-58 овде у видеу), некако као да уз звук мотора иде и неки ваздух, не знам како тачно да објасним😅, ако неко зна шта је (пре свега, ако разуме шта сам написао😂), бићу захвалан

@@jetstream454 turbocharger leaks lots of oil, and this destroys everything, like the oxidation catalyst and DPF, and in some cases the entire engine.
