It's the same with a regular sewing machine 😊 you just use a stretch stitch instead, like a zigzag stitch.

I made with a stretch cotton shirt but I couldn't do it with polyester knit fabric needle was jamming the fabric is to stretchy elasticity. what material is best 😢😊❤❤

Most definitely helped. Your explanation and clear camera shots were perfect. I thank you so much, had been struggling with the sailor bow looking correct. Also I was taught years ago a good way to knot thread. Take thread and wrap it around your index finger one maybe twice, then roll it off with the thread between your index finger and thumb. Then with middle finger grab thread between middle and thumb. Pinch together and slide down to end forming a knot. Takes practice to be able to make a small knot but is better than using two hands. Takes practice but works well.

hi I was hoping you could help me out. when I sew a head band it don't stretch because of the stitch what am I doing wrong is there a different thread your using or what please help

Did you cut the fabric with the stretch going in the direction of the circumference of your head? Sound like you cut it parallel with the selvedge. That won’t stretch much.
