I will debate the "just a toy commercial " claim as i see it more as a hobby promotion .. showing what can be done with some cardboard, plastic, and metal bits to make something truely unique

Tbf, no other Build show has really tried to. Build Fighters is at its core a sports anime. Try might seem close as it's sequel, but it's not even trying (ha) to hide the fact that it's a shonen battle anime. Divers is hard to pin down, partially because it hardly knows what IT wants to be, while it's sequel, ReRise, is a thinly veiled early-2000s isekai.
