You guys should also check out Casey Driessen's "The Singularity Tour"-he's an amazing violinist/fiddler who also makes great use of loops.

In doing a bit of research, it seems that Owen Pallett used to make use of a Boss VE-20 for looping just like the one I sold (it only has a 38 second phrase loop). Musicians: do you have any idea what his new looping gizmo (pictured at 0m:40s) is? All I know is that it’s blue and seems able to record up to fifteen independent loops, unlike the VE-20 which only has a single loop and one pedal.

Das Konzert hab ich aufgenommen :-) am Computer - außer diesem Lied, da war ich nicht schnell genug und darum ist es auf einer Kassette! Wunderschön.

saw him live in Cologne 2006... what impressed me most is his both smooth and virtuosic sampling. Just great to just watch... besides listening of course.

to the person who uploaded the video: you should change the title to Owen's name instead of "final fantasy"; he doens't go by that name anymore.

Well, several of the songs are very heavily influenced by the series and by video games in general, but the music isn't from the series, no.

@arthurthegreat Looping his violin was a side project of Owen Pallett's and he named the project after the video game series but the project has gained a lot of recognition and he has dropped the name Final Fantasy. In other words it has nothing to do with the games.
