Still a good vid, one tip about 5 min in, when you are trying to save on paint you can take 1 painted item (cable) in your hand, pickup more of that item so long as it's not a full stack, and they will ALL turn the painted color. So for cables have 1 green in your hand, 49 red ones fresh out of the printer, pick them up using the 1 green cable hand, and presto you have 50 green cables. Not sure if this only works on the "easy" mode or whatever they renamed that too now, but that little "bug" has been in the game forever ;)

Cant say anything about the quality of the video yet.. but if you returned to the same type of video after a long enough period to forget it all again, then what the heck did you watch the first charge for, since you obviously did not play enough to implement any of it in the meantime. Edit: Absolutely agree that the video isnt very well thought through tho

"I have a respawn in there and run lol". Love it. It reminds me of when I built an advanced furnace and told my friend to be careful and slow with with it, shortly followed by hearing sounds of Mars claiming souls and a fain uh-oh by my friend as practically the entire room imploded on him. We were both in tears for like 30 min laughing so hard.

The large wind turbines are the best source of energy on Vulcan, if you put them up a farely decent hill they will be going full speed 70% of the time and 30% slower if you have a bunch you will have a very decent constant output and when they run slower you just have battery to bridge,

Unfortunately this is no longer valid. You can’t fill a water bottle with -14c water it doesn’t work anymore. You should make an update video on this. You have to heat the water up between 0 and 100c Also, the H2 combustor does not have two inputs, you must mix o2 and H2 in the combustor through the same input pipe to make water. Excess gas (and FIRE on Vulcan) will expel from the output pipe so be careful when using the output pipe. Best bet is to only input H2 and trickle the O2 in on Vulcan to prevent over use and expelling of fiery o2 on Vulcan.

Floods cannot happen anymore. Ever since they did the fluid update and made water not allowed to exist in atmosphere or in pipes. Water will no longer physically appear in his game sadly. It used to be as simple as melting some ice water in your base and it'd flood the room

Just finishing my first week in the game. I learned most of this a bit late, not too late. Everything about the rack I had no idea, I have an empty spare suit sitting somewhere on a shelf, I'll know what to do with it so it'll be ready to on on a moment's notice. Now If I hadn't recycled all the extra tools I had, that would be great... I think you explained it well. In my POV anyway. Have yet to get in a hardsuit.
@pilotbrian1
@pilotbrian1 3 жыл бұрын
IC10 can be used to automate turning the suit on and off when you open/close the visor. With the visor open, the suit continues to operate, but you can use ic10 to turn it off. Also, the suit rack is basically just a set of valves - the front pipe gets connected to the air tank, and pressure/temperature get equalized. Same for the back pipe and the nitrogen tank, and the top pipe for the waste tank. The other benefit of the hardsuit is that it handles higher temps better, which is very important on Venus and Vulcan.

Thank you. For the rack I just know how to make it work not HOW it works. and ill have to look into the IC10

@@morganpricesgaming8985 I use pressure regulator into the rack to actually compress the tanks not just equalize pressure with your storage. You need to be careful, I had one explode when I put my old suit with normal tanks into my hard suit rack that was set up for smart tanks.

Mounting the Beacon high is also a good idea as it shows up even further than the lights on the tower. Problem is you need to remember to get up there to turn it on if you go out or turn it off if you want to conserve power. There is automation you can do for that.

I switched to using the GPS, mainly because the large beacon has been a little buggy when we played on a server setup. Also, if you're only using the battery beacon, you can never know for sure if the battery runs out while your out there. The GPS is a bit more work to find your way home, but the benefit is that it can be used to note down locations that might be of interest for mining and you can find it again. Here's what I know about the GPS: your landing spot is at (0,0,0). The positioning system (x,y,z) represents, x: north-south, y: altitude, z: east-west. North, 0 degree direction, increases x. South, 180 degrees decreases x. West, 270 degrees, increases z, and east, 90 degrees, decreases z.

@@hanzulu586 Thank you. I didn't know anything about the gps. how hard is it to get early game? I was tempted to do an old sailors trick considering we have a good compass and a decent grasp of time. You can get longitude and latitude the same way sailors of old used to. It actually works in game though exact time is a bit hard to ascertain
