And indeed on the next flight I've found out that during the crashes in this video I've dented really badly the back plate of the frame!

Thanks! Unfortunately this spot (not so far from home and really nice to train new tricks) was demolished a few months ago. I still have to publish the last video recorded here before the bad surprise. I'll publish it soon.

Fun but not super fun: its a mix of finding good lines while avoiding those huge trees and ghost branches. This one was inactive for too long.

Quite minimal but very good for training. Unfortunately it seems someone started working at it, all the trees have been removed and grass cut down. You'll see in one of the next videos the current status. I fear the abandoned quarry might be dismissed soon.

The frame is stronger than expected! However, since I was travelling another country, I couldn't risk of crashing and breaking some electonics too early, as I couldn't repair or change any part!

Thank you a lot for the kind words 🙏🏻 Keep your motivation despite of crashes, parts broken, and money burnt! I’ll appreciate a lot if you’ll subscribe to the channel. Its really cold recently here so I’m not flying a lot, can’t wait for the good season to get back to fly some new spots and train cool tricks.

Buy a remote (perhaps 2nd hand), get the one you will likely wanna use when you get your drone, and train in Liftoff. After 50hours, I can do a lot, but still miss serious precision, but keep at it, you will get better and better!

Should I buy this, or the 3rd tiny hawk?
@alegtFPV
@alegtFPV Жыл бұрын
They are totally different drones for different purposes. If you new to RC drones and FPV, the normal Tinyhawk (first, second or third model) is better to start getting control: even if you are used to stabilized drones, you'll find that throttle control for altitude is a totally new level of difficulty. You can check my oldest video: I started with the very first base EMAX Tinyhawk. If you already learned how to fly RC drones, including Acro mode, the Tinyhawk Freestyle 2 is the best to begin approaching freestyle flight and learn tricks.

Very nice Video. But you need stability. The prop wash shouldn’t be that recognizable. But your skills are great. Keep making videos 👍

Thanks for your feedback! Really appreciate you noticed details, it means you watched it with attention! In this video I tested Actual rates for the first time: rates suggested by the converter are totally wrong and too sensitive, so it was anything but smooth. Generally speaking, I'm recently noticed my smoothness become a lot worse compared to my old 3 inch freestyle flights (you can check my old videos with GepRC CX3). I'm still not sure if the change from FrSky to low latency ELRS is part of the difference, anyway I'm struggling to get back to the smoothness I had with the 3 inch. Propwash: I've now improved the (previously stock) PID tune, and reduced propwash automatically by about 50%. I still have to improve the lines as I'm stopping the free falls abruptly, causing propwash. I should keep the lines smooth, still working on this. I still have some old video to upload, you will notice an improvement in propwash in a few videos.

Damn thats a great sight to view! btw may I know is it direct line of sight flight (i mean like no obstacles in between) when you do the flying? because my nazgul5 v2 elrs connectivity is not as stable
@alegtFPV
@alegtFPV 2 жыл бұрын
Of course I always fly mid range with no obstacles in between, or nothing more than a casual tree on the sightline. I'm flying analog (at 400mw), I can't get past any peak or anything else, I lose video long before radio signal. My ELRS is 2.4ghz @ 100mw and I usually get to 50-75% packet rate when the video is breaking up for entire seconds and no longer flyable. I'll probably move to 250mw when I'll have time to test in a safe flight that my radio can supply enough power to my external module. I've recently bought and mounted a GPS for additional safety, but it is still far from 100% safe for many reasons (you can still crash in failsafe step 1, you might be flying in an area with bad GPS reception and lose signal just at the worst time when you have not enough GPS for RTH...).

Nice location! Which Antennas did you use on you Nazgul and your Goggles, because I can hardly go that far with my Nazgul even with 800mW and a patch Antenne on my Goggles (Eachine 300EVO). The DVR would be great!
@alegtFPV
@alegtFPV 2 жыл бұрын
Goggles: Eachine EV800D, with a stock "cloverleaf" omni (tested a lot of omnis on the googles and this seems the best to me), and a Realacc triple feed patch directional (the 9,4dB usual version, now there is a giant version too, don't forget the 50ohm bolt on the other screw). Nazgul: the ridiculous 5cm long original iFlight antenna. I also have the 15cm long iFlight antenna but I forgot to mount it (I forgot everything apparently in this flight ahahah)! On the freestyle Nazgul I use the Foxeer Lollipop 4 (because I destroyed the iFlight original antenna in very few crashes, it is too fragile). A few days ago I did 2,5km in open field climbing an ancient volcano (but didn't get to the top), this time with 400mW and the 15cm iFlight antenna. I will upload the DVR and the new flight as soon as I'll find time.
