Hi, you can create training and present to employees as long as it meets requirements as described in NISPOM. That’s what we’ve done with our training and it’s available for folks to purchase and their employees can take it and they’ll get certificates printed to demonstrate compliance. Thanks for asking and hope this helps. The certificates can demonstrate the requirements the same as a sign in roster.
@1LElife7 ай бұрын
Does facilitated training like this negate the requirement for cleared employees to take the CDSE online courses? Pending you have a sign-in roster showing who has completed the training.
@jwbene6 ай бұрын
Sorry for the late response. You can develop your own training and present it to employees. As long as you provide documentation of training, it should suffice. It might be a good idea to have a training outline to demonstrate covering the right topics. We have training available for FSOs to sign in, enroll employees and monitor progress. At the end the training prints certificates of completion. www.nispomcentral.com/training-courses/

Regarding exploitation for sensitive information - anyone is vulnerable to that, especially if you have a family. When it comes to sexual behavior, if it’s on the internet it’s already game over. That will follow you around for the rest of your life wherever you go. The question whether or not who remains vulnerable to that, not a textbook answer. Thanks for the video.

@jwbene Жыл бұрын
@@BassProBaitShop Thanks, I'll be happy to share. I started my journey working for an FSO in a large company. There, I was able to learn from a team of experts. However, some people start from scratch, being appointed to FSO and have to learn everything at once. in this case, option three would be instead of learning alone, to hire an FSO consultant. So, those are some options at the profession. As far as education, I recommend taking the courses at cdse. There are lots of online courses that are free with CDSE including an FSO orientation course. you'll have to log in and create an account. www.cdse.edu/

Mr. Bennett, I just wanted to say thank you very mich for this. Your materials helped me pass the SFPC exam! Would you happen to have similar study materials for the Special Programs cert or know of any useful guides?

Hi @hade820, Congratulations on passing!!! and thanks so much for your kind words. I'm so glad the study book helped you with the exam. I'm really happy for you as you put in the hard work and earned your certification. I don't have a study guide for the Special programs, but this study guide may be helpful also for the SAPPC. Also, I do have another study guide that can help with the ISOC. It's called the ISP and ISOC Master exam prep and it's available at www.redbikepublishing.com. Also if you don't mind, a nice review at amazon would be very helpful, www.amazon.com/review/create-review/?ie=UTF8&channel=glance-detail&asin=1936800454. congratulations again that's a great accomplishment.

can you get a security clearance on your own before applying for jobs? im asking because when ive been looking for jobs but they all require you to have a clearance. i was told that in order for u to get a clearance u have to have a sponsor or the job has to give u one.
@jwbene Жыл бұрын
Hi Kee, yes, a security clearance is tied to a contract. So, you would have to have the job prior to getting the clearance. I know it sounds circular, but you can get a job that requires a security clearance even if you don't have one. the employer will put you in for a clearance. So, land the job, get the clearance. The seminar does go into it as far as explaining how it works. Even though the seminar is over, I recorded it and it's available at the website: www.redbikepublishing.com/securityclearanceseminar/ Just register and it will take you to a page with the recorded security clearance webinar.
When was this material written? Are the new requirements and updates inclusive?

Am I employable as an FSO without having certifications or security clearance? Can I be hired without it? I had a low level security clearance but it’s expired.
@jwbene2 жыл бұрын
You would need a security clearance to do so. The NISPOM explains that the FSO should be cleared at the same level as the facility. But dont' let that stop you. There may be an opportunity to serve with a cleared defense contractor on their security team until you get a clearance.

Hi Trinity, thanks for asking. I am slowly adding chapters to the course, so it will soon have all chapters. The course does not provide NISPOM certification,, but rather an orientation to NISPON and how to apply guidance. Concerning NISPOM certification, are you referring to the ISP certification offered by NCMS? If so, that is awarded after taking their certification exam. My course provides good training for that exam. I also have a study guide available at www.redbikepublishing.com. Thanks again for writing.
@trinityjustice88603 жыл бұрын
I really need to get certified for NISPOM to progress my career. How would I go about doing that? I have found your course for $375, but it says it only covers 8 chapters. I was under the impression the NISPOM was 11 chapters? Also, does that course actually certify me in NISPOM?
@jwbene2 жыл бұрын
Hi, I'm so sorry, I thought i had responded to this. Yes the NISPOM is 11 chapters, but I've got 8 recorded. The new nispom is out and I am going back and recording training for the new NISPOM. I should be done soon. The good news is that the old training is still relevant and not significant changes other than information is in different sections. Also, there is no NISPOM certification. If you are talking about ISP certification, SFPC or other certification, I can help you with that.

@@sonnyviza3617 Yes, it's hard to get the training. you may be able to apply for FSO work based on experience you might have vs. training. The training is only really required to be conducted within a year of being hired.

However, if you are just looking for training to become familiar with the work or use the knowledge in a job interview, you may have to try elsewhere unless you can figure out how to get registered. You may want to call the 1800 number and seek help. They seem pretty responsive.
