There was no 1st century Palestine. There was a Judea . It was not until 135 A.D. after the Bar Kochba revolt , that Emperor Hadrian named it so. He was, as an added antagonism, naming the territory after the state of Philistia which was the second smallest state among those making up Canaan more than ten centuries before who used to represent one of Israels greatest adversaries. The world would forever go on to know these people as the Philistines. That's where the G-d damned name came from and its about time the G-d damned world get familiar with the history. Both the University students and the Churches. Now the Philistines as an entity were located and existed in what is today known as Gaza. Now We are talking 3000 yrs ago if we refer to Philistia in King Davids time. However today you have youth movements that are not even willing to study the history of even the past century. If they did they would have seen that the territory of Palestine was a part of Jordan under the British creation of that state. Also, the term Palestinian just before 1948 did not refer to a particular people or a country. Palestine was never a country. Never was. In fact Jews who lived there were also called Palestinians BY OTHER JEWS. THIS GENERATION IS super ignorant and their emotions and virtue signalling will not allow them to learn. And as for the even dumber people that try to reduce the conflict issue to just that of something concerning either Love or Hate need to stay away from Geo Politics as they are obviously simpletons .
