Sylus really reminds me of Jareth from The Labyrinth, and this video really cemented that similarity for me! The way he offers himself up to the MC’s mercy, even when he’s wielding his own power, is so reminiscent of the Goblin King fr. Even the way he treats his promises and deals so seriously, never going back on his word even if he does have creative interpretations of it sometimes, reminds me of the Fey! Like many people, I initially started playing Love and Deepspace after seeing Sylus in edits and posts, but the more I see of him, the more I genuinely appreciate the line about no love being purer than his. He always gives the MC a choice (especially apparent in the original Chinese!), always respects her ability to actually do things and solve problems on her own, and is *such* a green flag for someone who everyone expected to be the biggest red flag in the game LMAO I look forward to seeing more of your edits!

He reminds me of Lucifer Morningstar from the Lucifer Netflix series? 😭. The 'miss hunter' is so similar to how Lucifer calls Chloe 'detective'. And while both of them seem rough on the outside, they never go back on their word and have a soft spot. Also, the way Sylus keeps flirting with mc is so similar to how Lucifer flirts with Chloe every chance he gets. This video really helped solidify this thought for me. I love Lucifer from the Netflix Series so this was such a surprise for me.
