@CasualFirearms4 күн бұрын
If you decide to get yours polished and Blued, I would recommend mostly using it at the range so that you preserve the bluing. I've taken it to the range several times and I love shooting it and it still looks great. If you're planning on carrying it, I would just go for the stainless version. Also I should add that you need to be extra careful that you don't drop or scrape it against anything if you send yours off to be blued. I usually shoot this and my manurhin with shooting gloves on

If you shoot any revolver, it will eventually get these marks. It’s commonly referred to as a “turn line”. I wouldn’t worry about it too much….it shows that you’re actually shooting it and not letting it sit in a safe or a closet.
@CasualFirearmsАй бұрын
@@gerechoppers 100%, I was just wondering if those deeper lines would still be there had I adjusted the trigger sooner, given the change I saw in the turn lines after I made the adjustment

Sorry to see damage to your cylinder; the MR 73 is such a beautiful gun. I’ve been told that all trigger adjustments on the MR 73 should be done by a gunsmith. Perhaps this might prevent any damage to the cylinder.
@CasualFirearmsАй бұрын
You actually don't need a gunsmith to make these adjustments, which is one of the reasons I like it so much. If you take off the grips there are two little screws you can turn to adjust the trigger without any other work needed. Maybe some people try to do even more and take it apart and stuff, but it's intended to be very simple/convenient on this revolver. I don't have a huge problem with the deeper markings but I would've made the adjustment sooner if I knew it might have helped
@desertclimber78Ай бұрын
Beautiful rifle! I had those same scope rings on my xbolt speed chambered in 7RM and the rear ring failed, the windage screws that hold the rear ring are a major failure point. I replace them with a pic rail and some Seekins Precision rings. Much more stable setup.

Hi, compared to the Ruger gp100 with hogue grips, do the Manhurin Trausch feel better for those with small to medium hands? The hogue seem bigger to me or am I wrong? Thank you
@CasualFirearms2 ай бұрын
Now that I've shot it more I would definitely say the Traush grips are better. I wasn't used to the grips when I made this video, so that led to the issue I mentioned where it slammed into my hand. I have relatively small hands so if it works for me it should probably work for you too

What process did you use to pay for it over time?
@CasualFirearms3 ай бұрын
Basically I got it from EuroOptic, and at the time they didn't have it in stock, so what they told me was that I could make a down payment, and then pay off the rest of it in whatever increments I wanted until it arrived (these can take up to 3 years to arrive). If they already have it in stock, you only get two months to pay it off
@pauloo45233 ай бұрын
@@CasualFirearms how long was your wait?

I initially asked for the 6 inch, but after some time I saw that the 5.75 inch became available, so I asked if I could switch my down payment from the 6 inch to the 5.75 inch and they let me. Hello! Thanks for the reply! Yes, I think it could work. I recommend you buy the holster if you want, and if it doesn't fit your gun, you can sell it. Or if not, you can buy a S&W N-frame revolver 😅
