The breakfast buffet at the Shang is worth the stay alone. I like that its right next to Glorietta and close to Greenbelt. Win Win. I do want to have your setup one day and have my own home there. Hotels are nice but with what I spend I could just buy a condo with the $$$. Enjoy the lifestyle!

I agree with you. I used to live in Potrero hill in SFO and that city is going down hill fast. Almost all the flagship stores are closing or have closed. The city is dead and boarded. I believe it will take time before it can recover.

People avoid the city now, chances are you will get your car broken into if you visit. Yup no more flagship stores, tourists less and less. Manila is so much more a gentle city, you can feel "life" in Manila. Kind People.

Vigan is full of ghosts! walk around late at night and you will feel your arm hairs raise as you walk past certain houses. Its so fun and friendly. So much to see in such a condensed location. Its a journey on itself getting to and from there. Hire transportation from the airport to Vegan in advance. Enjoy !
