This knot does not werk,ive tied it 15 times,the mono slips rite thru the braid,I can tie it time after time and pull the flouro rite thru the braid.u put the pressue on it and it fails,9 out of 10.swing and a miss.

The fg knot was tied incorrectly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You must serve the knot (tighten) it before you finish it off with the risotto finish.

I feel like the uni knot portion at the end should've been done after the leader line was trimmed off close as possible

I can't get this knot to stick, it always just slips off the mono. I think I fish with too light of line for it to work. I use ten pound braid and ten pound mono.

agreeed , note that this is not cinched down until knot does a colour change., and even cinch the Rizutto until it does a colour change any knot is only as tight as its cinched

You can see the line compromised during tightening the knot might be good but at the sacrifice of line strength at the knot also poor knot finishing results in poor guide running

Not a good casting knot, FG ties with mono tag end coming out parralel with braid rather than coming out on the mono side which digs into your eyelet. Plus the FG is thinner and comes out parralel with braid so it tends to fly through eyelets better.

My guess for the first 5: Clinch, improved clinch, snell, Palomar, and uni knot (am I good so far?) No idea on the last one, but it ends up looking like a snell.

Thats okay for lighter leader, but wrap with the leader, not the braid. With heavy test leader, i always go with the FG knot/rizutto finish

You said "The PR knot is stronger than the FG knot". Just tying a statement and knot doesn't make it stronger. Prove it, attach it to a scale and pull until they both break. Let's see the proof!

Yep. Like these. Now can you do a similar knot on 15lb raid to 6lb mono leader please? I'm happy I can do these on what looks like 30lb leader, but the thin stuff does my head in! 😂

I'd like to suggest an improvment the your knot: You made the final knots around leader plus main. If you'd make just a couple of half knots around both, it would end up perfectly safe. I'd tie the final knots only around the main line. These knots would protect the main line from friction between the (melted or sharp) end of the leader and the braid.

It looks like a variation of the Slim Beauty. Regardless, I’d be tempted to try using a figure-8 as the “stopper” in the leader material. I’ll try it this way too.
