Nice video, how is the crossup holding up till now? I'm sort of the opposite of most people, very unfamiliar with a controller 😆 Do you think is better to play MH on controller or crossup for a newbie?

I play nanase and recently picked up a snack box and run a similar layouts minus the directional shenanigans. And additional buttons on the cross up. (Ff on pinky is nice) Serious question though a long time ago now friend told me not to use the dash macro because it makes you less actionable after than when using double tapping. I have avoided using it since. Is this true?

In Under Night, there is no difference between using dash macro or manual forward inputs for dashing. The only time it matters is when you want to buffer the dash input, in which case you have slightly longer buffer time if you do manual tapping input vs dash macro. So in combos where you want to use dash, it is recommended to input manually 66. Else I recommend using dash macro, especially for dash blocking.
